Frank Reidy and Eric Allen

This is absolutely spine-chilling stuff: a BBC public information film on the likely fallout of a nuclear attack on Britain. Reidy and Allen's music is what drew me to this - thanks to last month's Wire - but the film itself is just extraordinary. And the scene where a family in their house scramble around after the bombs land is horribly compelling. Like all films about nuclear war, there is something in them that just makes you want to watch.
