News reaches us that indie dance types Three Trapped Tigers are to release their first album in May. The group have issued three EPs already that have pleased a lot of people in a small way. You can hear a track from one of them here.
Now their first LP, Route One or Die, will be thrown out into the world on May 16.
Their press team says they are "utterly original on record and live", which is maybe true. They sort of sound like a fairly conventional IDM band to me who decided to do it all with acoustic instruments for a bet. That they happen to wrap string around their heads for fun just gives them that edge we're all looking for.
