IOTDXI

There's nothing like a good compilation in my eyes. And R&S bosses have proved that with IOTDXI, a round-up of releases from the Belgian label over the last 18 months. That R&S are still going is amazing in itself. They have been at it now for 27 years, give or take the odd break. They first came to my attention by putting out music by Aphex, Biosphere and Model 500. But now they're pumping out records by the likes of Vondelpark and the excellent Space Dimension Controller. Not to mention having a hand in the emergence of James Blake.
The label's new release brings us right up to date on the recent additions to the roster, as well as filling us in on some other high level artists working in electronics today.
The line-up includes Oneohtrix Point Never, Lone, James Blake, Model 500, Pariah, Vondelpark, Space Dimension Controller and Untold.
