Jim O' Rourke

Jim O' Rourke is one of those musicians whose body of work intrigues me. He is a model of ubiquity, such are the links he has with so many different performers. But I didn't know anything about his early work. Tamper is one such release, a series of compositions put together while he was still at university. This piece sounds to my untrained ears like something from Feldman.
